What is User Experience (UX)?
User Experience (UX) addresses all your users experiences, e.g., while interacting with your products with regards to the perceived quality. A good Usability of your product is nowadays not sufficient anymore, i.e. the sensory experience of the product (User Experience) and everything around it (like the Customer Experience).
UX can be defined as: "a person's perceptions and responses that result from the use or anticipated use of a product, system or service.[...] User Experience includes all the users' emotions, beliefs, preferences, perceptions, physical and psychological responses, behaviors and accomplishments that occur before, during and after use." (DIN ISO 9241-210) -
Why is UX a success factor?
The UX is one of the most important success factors of your products: The experiences of your users determine if and how long a user interacts with your products or immediately stops using them. The UX does not only affect the current usage, but also the brand perception and recommendation of the products. This in turn can positively affect your revenues and profit. In order to ensure, that your users make positive experiences with your products, you should implement long-term UX Strategies.
